Hyundai Motor America Continues Commitment To Diversity In Action During 2017 North American International Auto Show
Hyundai to donate 1,000 new winter coats for youth in Detroit and to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the Multicultural Media Luncheon Awards Ceremony

DETROIT, Jan. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyundai Motor America will continue its commitment to diversity during the 2017 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) by supporting two great organizations in the city of Detroit. Hyundai will partner with Orchards Children's Services, a Detroit based youth services organization, and the Ajamu Group Multicultural Media Luncheon Award Ceremony.

For the second year in a row, Hyundai will donate 1,000 new winter coats to Orchards Children's Services and Pace Academy for youth and families in Detroit on January 11. To date, Hyundai has donated over 12,000 winter coats through the program across the U.S. In addition to the new coats, Hyundai presents a $2,500 grant to support the ongoing work of Orchards Children's Services.

On January 12, Hyundai will serve as the presenting sponsor for the 7th annual Ajamu Group Multicultural Media Luncheon Awards Ceremony. The event takes place at the MGM Grand Hotel and recognizes the contribution of women and minorities in the automotive industry. This year's event will feature keynote speaker, actor and director, Boris Kodjoe
